Coimbatore-based ABT Logistics, earlier known as ABT Parcel Service, is looking at annual revenue of ₹250 crore in three years from the current ₹150 crore.
Chief Operating Officer of ABT Logistics, V. Gururaj, told The Hindu on Thursday the company is looking at expanding operations across the country beyond the southern States, have one lakh sq.ft warehouse space, and get into forwarding business for international cargo. Its fleet size will also increase to almost 600 in three years.
The company started working on the rebranding initiative two years ago and has expanded to the National Capital Region. It currently handles 20,000-22,000 tonnes of cargo a month and plans to double it. It will offer its customers single window, end-to-end solutions, including warehousing and express transport. Almost 95 % of its volume is in the business-to-business segment, and the company plans to offer micro warehouses for the MSME customers, Mr. Gururaj said.
ABT will get into joint ventures to have a pan-India presence in another six months. It will have own and leased assets as it expands its business and will invest in a phased manner, he added.
